Uniquely Yours has great ideas for any occasion

Susan Ruggiero opened Uniquely Yours Gift and Gourmet Nook in December 2009. In December of 2008, Susan’s professional career in sales and marketing was unexpectedly eliminated, leaving her with time to re-evaluate new career. Susan is married to husband Spencer, they have four kids. Sons Jonathan (26) and Marcus (22) Ruggiero, Gray Robinson (12) who attends Crab Orchard Elementary and TeddiAnne Robinson (14) cheerleader at Stone memorial High school.

Opening a gift shop was the furthest thing from Susan Ruggiero’s mind when her family moved to Crossville in Spring of 2009.  “It has turned out to be a wonderful change of professional direction I intend to enjoy for many years to come. It’s amazing how disappointments can turn out to be the greatest blessings, “ she says. “Without that situation occurring, I would never have taken the steps to open Uniquely Yours, and it has turned out to be such a wonderful adventure.”

Uniquely Yours Gift and Gourmet Nook is located in the old Hills Fruit building beside, Legacy Resort Properties, which is owned by Susan’s husband Spencer who is a Glade native. The boutique’s goal is to offer a vast selection of gourmet items from sauces, relishes, cheese ball & dip mixes..etc, as well as unique gift items ranging from jewelry to home décor.

In addition, a grand celebration of seasonal and holiday items will be available as well as custom made gift baskets. A true believer of the importance of the “personal touch” and that “lil’ things mean a lot”, Susan is motivated to find products that will enable customers to share the perfect, heartfelt sentiments when gift giving. Customers are encouraged to share any specific favorite gourmet items they would like to have at their fingertips and she will keep those in stock also.  Services also include custom made wreaths, floral and gift basket orders can be picked up within 24 hours of placing orders. Corporate gifts are also available.

A few brands carried in stock include; Roman, Cottage Gardens, Skinny Dip Candles (with lanolin/soy, come with a scoop that wax liquid can be scooped and massaged into sore joints/dry, chapped skin), Organic Pet Treats, Key west Lotions, December Diamonds Christmas Ornaments, Bagallini purses, Village Gourmet and Wickles Pickles.
