CMC to open clinic in Monterey

Cumberland Medical Center is excited to announce plans to open a clinic in Monterey, TN.  Last week officials met and signed documents which officially call for the Monterey Health Clinic operated by Cumberland Medical Center, located on 305 South Holly Street, Suite A, to begin plans for opening hopefully in the next 4-6 weeks.

Representative Eric Swafford announces aeronautics grant for Crossville Memorial Airport

Representative Eric Swafford (R-Pikeville) announced today that Crossville Memorial Airport in Cumberland County will receive a grant for $1.6 million from the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s (TDOT) Aeronautics Division. The grant money will be used for pavement rehabilitation.

National recognition supports Playhouse and local economy

Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville, TN (CCP) is one of eight Southern theaters funded by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Recovery and Reinvestment Program.  Congressman Lincoln Davis and staff supported CCP with the NEA, which funded 640 out of 2400 applicants. The CCP $50K grant is the maximum for individual organizations.
